About Our Coverage

We capture more than 130,100 unique km² annually, and our published imagery covers up to 95% of the Australian population* — including 198 urban and regional areas and more than 7080 postcodes.

How often does Nearmap capture?
Free satellite imagery like Google aerial maps may lack detail or be years out of date.
We add new content covering major Australian metros multiple times a year, and selected populated regional areas at least once per year — at a resolution of at least 5.5-7.5cm.
