How did we calculate this?

The estimated savings provided by this calculator are a guide only and the results provided are an example of the savings you could potentially see through using Nearmap to reduce your site visits. The savings estimate does not factor in the additional costs of a Nearmap subscription. Your actual savings may be higher or lower than the estimate, depending on a number of factors including but not limited to your individual workflows, the Nearmap products subscribed to and your usage of those products. Any changes to the details used in the calculation would also vary the results.

The calculations assume there are 8 working hours per day, 5 working days per week, and 48 working weeks per year. It also assumes an average travel speed of 60 km/h. Time saved is calculated from the data you entered. CO2 saved assumes an average travel speed of 60 km/h, resulting in CO2 emissions of approximately 11 kg/h.
